Micro PDF

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Micro PDF Tools is built to handle your documents with as little data collection as possible. This page explains exactly what happens to your files and what (little) information we process.

Files processed in your browser

The Merge, Split, Organize, and Image to PDF tools run entirely on your device. Your files are never uploaded to a server, never transmitted over the network, and never seen by us. They stay in your browser's memory and are discarded when you close or reload the page.

Files processed on the server

The PDF to Image and Compress tools require server-side processing. For these, your file is uploaded to temporary, secure storage, processed, and then:

  • the uploaded file is deleted immediately after processing;
  • the generated result is stored briefly so you can download it, then removed automatically by a scheduled cleanup;
  • we do not read, share, sell, or retain the contents of your files.

Information we process

We do not require an account and do not collect names, emails, or payment information. To keep the service available and prevent abuse, our servers may temporarily process technical data such as your IP address (for rate limiting) and standard request logs. Error logs record what went wrong — never the contents of your files.

Cookies and tracking

Micro PDF Tools does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any cookies present are strictly necessary for the site to function.

Service providers

The site is hosted on Vercel, and the temporary storage used by the server tools is provided by Vercel Blob. These providers process data on our behalf solely to deliver the service.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
