Crop PDF pages
Crop a PDF by drawing a rectangle over the page to choose the area to keep, then apply it to the pages you pick. Trim white margins or cut a document down to a region. Runs entirely in your browser, so your file never leaves your device.
How to crop pdf
- Upload the PDF you want to crop.
- Drag the box to select the area to keep, and choose which pages.
- Click Crop and download the result.
Frequently asked questions
- Does cropping delete the content outside the box?
- Cropping sets the page's visible area (its CropBox), hiding everything outside the box in viewers and prints. The underlying content isn't shredded, so it's a safe, reversible change rather than destructive editing.
- Can I crop only some pages?
- Yes. Use the page selector to apply the crop to specific pages or ranges, for example "1-3, 5", or leave it blank to crop every page.
- Is my file uploaded to a server?
- No. Cropping runs entirely in your browser with pdf-lib, so your PDF never leaves your device.
